Delivering a Regular commercial film is Piece-of-cake, but showcasing sports backdrop film is a tough Job. Director Gautam Tinnanuri who made his debut with Malli Raava two years back is now came up with sports backdrop film ‘Jersey’ featuring Nani and Shraddha Srinath in main lead. Tamil actor Sathya Raj plays key role in the film.
Arjun (Nani) is a cricket player who dream to play for Team India. But Money and Politics shows him Thumbs down. Parallely, Sarah (Shraddha Srinath) and Arjun will be in deep love and will marry against their parents will. They bear a child. After trying to get selected in Indian Team, Arjun give-up Cricket at the age of 26. He spent 10 years doing nothing. Now at the age of 36, Arjun again decide to come back and try his luck for Team India. Can he make it is rest of the story.
Hero Nani is of the finest Actor in Tollywood. His diction towards his work is inevitable. He perfectly blended in Arjun’s role and we can never imagine any other actor in Arjun’s role. This film will be remain classic hit in Nani’s entire career. Shraddha Srinath is beautiful and she fit the bill. She looks natural in all the shades. The Boy who played as Nani is so adorable. His cute acting and dialogues will make you emotional. Satya Raj plays important role and others did as required.
The Cricket match episode looks very natural and Hero Nani rendered the role as real batsman. Cricket lovers will enjoy every frame of this film. The Screenplay of the this film is one of the biggest highlight. Anirudh’s Music is another highlight. The background score carries the same emotion. The Dialogues will give you goose bumps and they are so perfect. The locations and camera work looks natural.
Jersey is a story of a Father who doesn’t want to be a zero in his Son’s world. It’s a story of a Son, who feel his father is a Hero. It’s a Story of a Wife who wants to lead a simple and happy family life. It’s a Story of a Cricketer who dream to achieve his goal at the age of retirement.
